We have now come to what the founding fathers feared would happen when the powers to be ignore the Constitution and "We the People!" Tyranny is alive and growing at an alarming rate in Washington and "Give Me Liberty or Give me Death" has been replaced with " Give me Tyranny and Give me Dept! Excellent article Mr. Beigh, although I may argue that the Declaration of Independence, US Constitution, and Bill of Rights are equal in value to the freedoms in our country, and without each other cannot consitute a federal constitutional republic, and equally in jeapardy with current times. To the extent you are able, please follow up on this article, and maybe expound on what should/would/could happen if our politicians, our elected officials that is, should they continue to arrogantly lament the absence of "positive rights" and blatantly disregard the "Law of the Land", this land, The United States of America. If it is indeed We the People, We shouldn't allow anyone to disgrace the honor of serving, representing, legislating, executing, and enforcing the law, according to the U.S. Constitution; and hold that constitution including the Declaration and Bill of Rights in good faith with the oath taken.
